About Us

The Warren County Astronomical Society (WCAS) is organized by volunteers for the enjoyment of astronomy for educational and scientific purposes for our members and the public.

Our members operate the Fred Bay Observatory at Hisey Park near Waynesville and share it with the public under an agreement with the Warren County Park District.

We also help operate the Rachel A. Hutzel Observatory at Camp Joy near Clarksville.

You’re invited to join us at upcoming events and to become a member.

WCAS, founded in 2012, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
