Cancelled: EVs Under the Stars Event on Saturday, Sept. 28

Due to the forecasted rain and the potential for severe weather on Saturday, we are canceling EVs Under the Stars.

We planned to hold the event rain or shine by moving some speakers and exhibits indoors. However, the Hurricane Helene track is unpredictable and there’s a chance of high winds.

So out of caution, we will not open the Fred Bay Observatory at Hisey Park. All presentations, exhibits, food trucks, and electric vehicle ride-and-drives are canceled.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We wanted to make this call early rather than put anyone at risk on Saturday.
